The show Frida, ¡Viva la Vida Kabaret! at Café Central Madrid is coming to an end. In this stark monologue, the actress Úrsula Murayama has filled Sunday mornings at Central, recreating the life, suffering and loves of this Mexican artist who became the undisputed icon of a woman who has fought for her freedom, dreams and art.
Úrsula Murayama brings to the stage a woman who is broken inside, body and soul, in a space filled with lights, live music and snippets of Mexican culture.

Úrsula Murayama (Mexico City), who studied theater extensively in Mexico and Cuba, has appeared in several televangelism and films, including Hijacks del serotonin (José Miguel Juarez), Sin arugula, Peleas de gallos (Joel Juarez) and El último profeta (Juan Antonio de la Riva). She has also performed in various plays such as Los perros de Dios, Susurros de inmortalidad and more.
She relocated to Madrid, where she has worked on several films and television series (Las trece rosas, Mi hijo Arturo, El comisario), and the monologue La mujer sola (Darío Fo), which is performed at a number of cultural centers in the Community of Madrid. She has appeared in Mujeres de arena and La venganza de la Menda, and also delved into the micro-theater format.
In Frida Kahlo: Viva la vida, Úrsula returns to the stage with the adventure of giving life to this great Mexican artist through an interesting monologue written by Humberto Robles and led by Enrique Simón. Shows will be during the kabaret matinée session (12:00 PM to 1:00 PM), every weekend in May, with Celia Laguna on the piano, Alejandro L. Domínguez on the violin and Pablo Navarro on the double bass. The production assistant is Carla Tadeia and the wardrobe was designed by Hilda González.
Attendees will enjoy a festive atmosphere, Mexican food and even the famous toques. At the end of the performance, the band will play for everyone to dance.
